While it's certainly not everything you need to find the drivers you are looking for, it offers some suggestions that you might have not thought of before. People who are experienced at installing drivers need not even bother with this section, but the average Joe might find it helpful in understanding the basic steps to identifying the manufacturer of computer hardware.
